Poetry News: Agape Review

So thankful for the team at Agape Review, their kind words and their acceptance on my poem, "One Day,"

One day,
my cries will sound like hallelujahs,
And this ache and burden I have been carrying
will feel weightless
And freeing.

One day,
I will stop bargaining over sickness
and rejoice in the health of the now.
I will train my eyes upward and follow
the path set before me, instead of wondering
if someone else’s journey is better than mine.
