Some things about me:
I wear my heart on my sleeve.
I am compulsive chocolate buying, overly protective mama bear.
I am a two time Preeclampsia survivor.
In 2015, after swearing off that I would never go through another pregnancy, NICU stay, premature baby....God blessed us with a little man. I still ended up with Preeclampsia. I still had to go through another NICU, still had to hold on to a premature baby. This time, I was slammed by a hurricane called, postpartum depression.
This is what Storm of Hope: God, Preeclampsia, Depression and me is about.

Today, I advocate for maternal mental health with my advocacy efforts through 2020 Mom, Mom Congress and MoMMa's Voices. Please look through the tab labeled Advocacy for insight and updates on my work with these organizations, as well as link to these amazing lifelines (resources).
